So you want to be a rock star vintner? Then you will need to brush up your blending chops and turn up the volume. What better way to do that than with a little help from your friends at Hourglass.

You and two other couples will join the Hourglass winemaking team for a weekend blending session, resulting in a unique half barrel lot (12 cases) you can call your own. The Hourglass team will even allow naming rights! To facilitate this awesome weekend, you will stay at the Hourglass Estate House (overlooking the majestic Hourglass vineyard) in St. Helena for three nights. You will spend one of the days trading beakers and pipettes with winemakers Tony Biagi and Adrien Halpin, as you explore the fascinating world of blending. You want a little more plush texture, try Merlot. The blend needs a little spine? Tweak the Cabernet. More floral accents? Cab Franc is the magic. Your backstage pass bestows access to our expert blenders, who will run you through blending trials as we do them at the winery.

When the trials are finished, you will emerge with a personalized proprietary blend we will bottle with your very own custom name (bragging rights implied). And of course, as we do at the winery, the blending session will be followed by a sumptuous winemaker's lunch prepared by the Hourglass team (our winemakers are actually pretty badass cooks as well) and served on the crush pad in the center of it all. (If you are really nice, they might even let you get the full winemaking experience and clean out a tank. OK, maybe not.) It is rumored that the Hourglass Estate house boasts a 4,000+ album vinyl collection, so you can turn it up to 11 and air guitar to your heart's delight. (If you actually play, there's also a working studio on property to get loud in.) To fully dial you in, the Hourglass staff will act as your personal concierge to unlock other amazing tours and tastings throughout your stay.
