The Community Baby Shower hosted by the Maternal Health Center's Centering Program at Atrium Medical Center and the Butler County Educational Service Center's PRIM Program is open to any new mother with an infant under the age of 1 or expecting moms.
Please RSVP by clicking the "Click Here" yellow button above. To ensure the best experience for all of our moms and reduce long lines, we are asking that everyone signs up so we can appropriately plan for gifts and food.
Registration is not required, but anyone who has RSVP'd will give priority admittance. There will be two check in lines, one for pre-registered and one for walk-ins.
What is a Community Baby Shower?
This is our chance to support our local moms! Atrium's Centering Program and the Butler County Educational Service Center's PRIM program is proud to host this joyful day with our partners, the Kiwanis Club of Middletown, the Middletown Community Foundation, the Atrium Medical Center Foundation and more!
Mothers will have everything a typical baby shower has - sweet decorations, cookies and lunch, a photo booth PLUS access to community resources that will help you find everything from affordable diapers to breastfeeding consults and more. AND every mom goes home with an extra-large diaper bag/changing station filled with goodies.
EVERYONE is welcome. Pregnant, but don't have a doctor? We're here for you. Pregnant, and battling addiction? We're here for you. Pregnant with two children and no babysitter, bring them along - we are here for you!
Our goal is to give every mom a feel good day and to give her the information and resources needed to give baby a great start. Each mother will also get at least one take home baby shower gift collected by generous donors throughout our community and donated by our generous sponsors.
Raffles will be held throughout the event for larger prizes-- must be present to win and be able to transport gifts home that day.
This is our second time hosting and last year's event went so well. We can't wait to see everyone this year!
What is Centering Pregnancy?
Atrium's Centering program brings 5-7 women all due at the same time together for their care. Providing care in this way allows moms and providers to relax and get to know each other on a much deeper and meaningful level. Members of the group form lasting friendships and are connected in ways not possible in traditional care. This program is a great way for expecting moms to find support throughout their entire pregnancy.
