Hats and Horses Derby Party 2026

For 122 years, Cumberland Youth & Family Services has provided safe places to call home. Today, we provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to foster youth, young adults who have aged out of foster care, single-parent families, community members, and family-based foster homes.

In 2025, Cumberland provided 23,036 days of care and 1,897 counseling sessions for 334 residents & clients. We are proud to provide safe places to call home for so many. However, this level of care is costly, and we rely on support from our community partners like you for more than a third of our yearly operating budget.

On Saturday, May 2nd, we will hold our 6th annual Hats & Horses Derby Party. At this event, our goal is to raise $100,000 to support safe places to call home for some of our community's most vulnerable children, young adults, and families. 

Join fellow philanthropists and community leaders for this signature event. Attendees will enjoy an afternoon of live racing, Derby-themed food & drinks, exclusive whiskey tastings, a Derby attire contest, a silent auction, and more, all to benefit Cumberland Youth & Family Services!
