Many great players have graced the friendly confines over the long history of the Cubs franchise. The all-time greats come easily to mind for any Cubs fan - Ernie Banks, Fergie Jenkins, Hack Wilson - just to name a few.

The Cub faithful can only imagine (and maybe debate) the dream-team of Cubs greats - the one player at each position who we can call the greatest Cub. We have gone one better than imagining, by assembling a rare and remarkable collection of baseballs personally autographed by the greatest Cub at each position on the field.

Of course, Mr. Cub Ernie Banks is the headliner, as always, as the greatest shortstop in Cub history (although he played about an equal number of innings at first base and shortstop, he went into the Hall of Fame as a shortstop). Flanking Ernie at third base and second base on our mythical greatest team are Ron Santo and Ryne Sandberg. Since Ernie mans shortstop, Derrek Lee got Anthony's vote for the greatest Cub first baseman. Hall of Fame catcher Gabby Hartnett completes this extraordinary infield.

In the outfield, no serious Cub fan could dispute Billy Williams as the greatest Cub left fielder, or Hack Wilson patrolling center field. The only Cub to go into the Hall of Fame as a right fielder, Kiki Cuyler, finishes the hitters for this all-time greatest Cub team collection.

On the pitching side, of course Fergie Jenkins takes the hill as the greatest all-time Cub starting pitcher and Bruce Sutter comes in as closer if Fergie ever needed to be relieved.

All of these signatures in this spectacular collection appear on their own autographed baseball, with the exception of the most rare and valuable baseball of all in this collection - an exceptional baseball circa 1930 which is signed by each of Gabby Hartnett, Hack Wilson and Kiki Cuyler. This incredible find is almost 90 years old, although you have to actually view the baseball to appreciate how incredibly well-preserved it is.

This stunning collection of autographed baseballs has all of these Cubs greats. It includes 9 members of the Baseball Hall of Fame and covers the greatest heroes in the hearts and minds of Cub fans everywhere
