This hand made belt buckle was sculpted by Dave Richardson at his studio in Berthoud, CO. He and his team are able to produce a high quality product with every buckle cast. These are made of cast bronze and can be handed down to future generations.

The buckle measures 3" across x 2.5" tall. The bail will accept a belt up to 1.75" wide.

The bronze does have an antique patina and will be subject to slight changes due to normal wear and tear. A light waxing or spray of clear coat every so often will help maintain its original appearance.

Colorado's state fish, Greenback Cutthroat Trout. It was listed as endangered in 1973 but down listed to threatened when a recovery plan began in 1978. Major efforts are still being made in Colorado, by Colorado Trout Unlimited, to bring back populations of Greenback Cutthroat Trout. The cutthroat is the only native trout species to Colorado which includes the four subspecies: The Yellowfin Cutthroat (currently believed to be extinct); the Rio Grande Cutthroat; the Greenback Cutthroat; and the Colorado River Cutthroat.
