Designers Colson, Schofield, Swain.
Though they became popular by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1937, barrel chairs have a history dating back to the early 19th-century. Frank Lloyd Wright popularized the chair in the Martin House. Some of the original designs of barrel chairs were to repurpose old whiskey barrels during Prohibition.
These chairs have always been known for their comfort and are often made from wood with a
leather or fabric seat. This specific barrel chair is named The Wagner chair in honor of the previous owners who have recently passed away.
Entry-level bidding for a unique chair such as the Wagner typically starts at $400.
