Honoring Jaime Greenberg

Jaime Greenberg has been a proud Glen Cove resident for over 25 years and a dedicated supporter of causes that strengthen families and community.

His connection to the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation is deeply personal. Following his son Sean's Type 1 diabetes diagnosis, Jaime and his family turned their focus toward advocacy, education, and advancing research that brings us closer to a cure. Through conversations with other families and leaders in the diabetes community, Jaime became inspired by the groundbreaking work being done at the Diabetes Research Institute and committed to supporting its mission.

Beyond his advocacy in the diabetes community, Jaime is an active leader in Glen Cove. He serves on the boards of the WaterFront Center, Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club, and the Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce, and is a proud supporter of Poppa Neid's Camp, a nonprofit organization that provides grants to help finalize adoptions for children in vulnerable circumstances.

Jaime's dedication to family, community, and finding a cure makes him a truly deserving honoree. We are proud to celebrate him at Cooking for a Cure.
