"Larry's Pinto" - Potsketch by Jennifer Leutzinger
Hand-stitched textile, 5x5"

Jennifer Leutzinger's current medium is fabric and thread. Her mother taught her to sew as a child, but her love of quilting began during a continuing education class in 1995 in Missoula. Combining small pieces to create something personal, handcrafted, and nostalgic is magical. She quickly learned that she prefers creating her own designs to following a pattern, and hand-stitching to using a machine.
Born in El Paso, Texas, Jennifer was raised in Iowa, residing primarily in Cedar Falls. She obtained a BA in Journalism from the University of Iowa in 1990, studied layout/production art at The Art Institute of Seattle in 1992, and received a BFA in Painting from the University of Montana in 2002.
Jennifer, after moving to Missoula in 1995, has participated in various group and solo shows throughout Montana. She currently runs Bob's Your Uncle, a gallery/studio space she opened in 2024 on the west side. Before Bob, she ran The Brink in downtown Missoula.
