Scamman Farm Spring
10x13" Oil on Panel
Brown Frame
Painted by Don Jalbert '75

This beautiful oil painting, Scamman Farm Spring, was created by Prep alumnus Don Jalbert '75, an award-winning American Impressionist artist with over 50 years of experience. Inspired by French and American Impressionists, Don captures the unique light of New England's landscapes, seacoast, and wildlife. His primary influence is Frank W. Benson, alongside other greats like Monet and Pissarro.

Don's work has been shaped by his studies at several art schools and his apprenticeship with artist John C. Terelak. He also teaches art and watercolor workshops, creates greeting cards, and supports the Memory Project, painting portraits for orphans worldwide. Don lives in New Hampshire with his wife and three dogs, continuing to paint and share his love for art.

This painting is a beautiful representation of Don's skill and passion for capturing the essence of New England's changing seasons.
