Donations made during 2025, or between January 1 and April 15, 2026, may be claimed on the 2025 Arizona income tax return. The maximum credit for the 2025 tax year is $987 for couples filing jointly and $495 for single filers.

For the 2026 tax year, the credit increases to $1,009 for couples filing jointly and $506 for single filers. Donations made between January 1 and April 15, 2026, may instead be claimed on the 2026 Arizona return (filed in 2027) to take advantage of the higher credit amounts.
