Enjoy a whitetail deer hunt for two guns any week of deer season on a privately owned 4,500 acre-plantation just 45-minutes from Columbia. This expansive property offers classic Sandhills terrain--rolling pine ridges, hardwood bottoms, and thousands of acres of managed wildlife habitat--in a secluded, low-pressure setting. Hunt on grounds where in 1865, General Sherman's Federal Army commanded by General John A. Logan advanced Northeast, only to get stuck on the plantation when the Lynches River--which runs its length--flooded. Upon arrival at Macburn, the wildlife manager will meet you and transport you to your stand. Should game be taken, the wildlife manager will facilitate transfer to a processor.
