During the booking process, any available standard seat may be selected. If no standard seats are available during booking, a seat will be assigned at the gate. Seat upgrades are available for an additional fee at the customer's discretion. Recipients who hold a Rapid Rewards Credit Card or A List/A-List Preferred status will have their status reflected accordingly, provided the customer's Rapid Rewards number is associated with the reservation at the time of booking or subsequently added to the reservation on Southwest.com.
