L'Ecole's two estate vineyards are in the Walla Walla Valley, both sustainably farmed. Each site expresses distinct soils, elevations, and microclimates, demanding a thoughtful and intentional approach in the vineyard.
The commitment to terroir continues in the cellar, prioritizing balance, finesse, and purity of fruit, with careful extraction and restrained oak to preserve vineyard character. The result is a portfolio of ultra-premium Washington wines known for structure, natural acidity, and exceptional aging potential.
Included in the L'Ecole No. 41 Vertical:
- 1 bottle 2016 Ferguson: complex aromas of espresso, tobacco, and dark mineral-laced fruit. Wild blackberries and dusty tannins integrate with flavors of flint and graphite on the palate. Concentrated natural acidity leads to a robust and lingering finish.
- 1 bottle 2017 Ferguson: complex aromas of espresso, chocolate, and dark mineral-laced fruit. Layers of wild blackberries and focused tannins integrate with flint and graphite on the palate.
- 1 bottle 2018 Ferguson: complex aromas of mineral-laced blackberries, expressive violet, black plums, and sandalwood. Layers of fruit and espresso are framed by lifted tannins, integrated with graphite and crushed rocks on the palate.
