"When it comes down to it, ART is all around us and is an act of communication that can be experienced through the process of creating or by interacting with art as a viewer. My favorite quote on art is from Walter Pater: "Art comes to you proposing frankly to give nothing but the highest quality to your moments as they pass." The "highest quality to your moments" is so true. The act of creating art is such a joyous process for me. I am fascinated with the history of Art and love viewing how artists currently and throughout history have approached the creative process. I also love sharing my passion and knowledge of Art with others."

"Curiosity is the theme of my work. Exploring the tactility and sensuality of clay through sculpture and utilitarian forms. Using objects and vessels, I seek to create physical and visual interest out of commonplace occurrences. Utilitarian vessels are meant to be touched, allowing interaction. My pieces are expressions of how objects are transformed, alluding to tactile discoveries.
Ceramic vessels reflect human attributes both in terms of physical description, referring to a lip, belly, or foot, but also in terms of character. By transferring the idea of sensuality associated with physical properties that comprise the human figure in clay, I evoke the desire to discover something new. Unexpected appendages present an opportunity for inquisitiveness. Ultimately, I take pleasure in creating objects of playful indulgence, sparking a desire for curiosity."
