Petrus is one of the most iconic wines of Bordeaux, produced in Pomerol. Its vineyard lies on a gently sloping hill, at the highest point of the Pomerol Appellation. Often referred to as the "buttonhole of clay," it is a unique terroir.

There are no visits at Petrus but exceptionally for the winner of the extraordinary lot, estate head Jean Moueix is happy to have the property's doors open to welcome 6 people for a tour of the cellars and a tasting. You will then be welcomed to lunch at the Moueix family home in Libourne, with either Jean Moueix himself, wine maker Olivier Berrouet, or other Petrus leadership. Guests will also be delighted by the home's collection of works by Rothko, Degas, and more, comprising one of the most exceptional private art collections in the world.

Petrus will also gift the winning bidder two magnum bottles of Petrus 2014 directly from the estate's cellars to commemorate the occasion.
