Meet Flyer the Beagle. One look from Flyer's astoundingly blue peepers, and you're an instant fan. Of course, Beagles are known for their intelligence, and Flyer is no exception. Flyer has the distinct honor of being the first live mascot for Loyola College Prep (or any high school that we know of), and he absolutely KNOWS it - just ask him. Not even a year old, Flyer is living up to everything we know and (mostly) love about his breed!

He is too smart for his own good, more curious than a kid on Christmas Eve, will follow his little black wiggly nose wherever it takes him, and about as bold and independent as a medium-sized hound can be. He takes orders from no one, especially his humans - the Stanberry's - who would tell you it's Flyer's house, we just live in it.

At the same time, he is already very proud to carry his title, loves his school and every student and teacher in it, and - at the end of a long day of pep rallies and games - he is most comfortable snuggling with his people, chewing one of his many toys until he falls fast asleep, snoring louder than most grown men.
