Artist Statement
Its all about POLO, the abstract thundering horses, the number 3 that symbolizes the important captains jersey number and the translucent circular plastic discs along the bottom that convey "clouds of dust" that get kicked up from all the stamping hoofs of the horses.

My abstract mixed media paintings explore the tension between chaos and control. Using layers of acrylic paint, collage, and found materials, I build textured surfaces that interact with flat, graphic lines and geometric forms. This contrast reflects the visual and emotional complexity of modern urban life. This piece is a more fluid interpretation of that process.
