Don't miss the Children's Museum of Richmond's signature grown-ups-only celebration!

Pretend Again: A Grown-Up Night at the Museum returns on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 7:00-10:00 p.m. at our Downtown location-bringing Richmond an unforgettable evening of child-like fun designed just for adults.

Step into a night where play takes center stage. Enjoy tastings from some of RVA's favorite restaurants, specialty drinks at an open bar, and music that keeps the energy high all night long.

Explore the Museum in a whole new way as you indulge your inner kid with games, lively raffles, prizes, surprises, and plenty of moments you'll be talking about long after the night ends.

Every ticket fuels CMoR's mission-helping us bring playful, hands-on learning opportunities to children and families across our region.

"We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing." -George Bernard Shaw

Play is at the heart of our mission because that is how children make sense of their world. Through playful exploration, they build the curiosity, confidence, and problem-solving skills that shape learning for life. When all children and caregivers share meaningful moments of play, our whole community grows stronger.

Your support fuels that impact. A gift today helps CMoR bring hands-on learning beyond our walls, equip caregivers with simple tools to spark learning at home, and ensure every child has enriching opportunities to learn through play.
