Ever wanted to make your own beer? Want to impress your friends and family by serving some special hand-made suds at your next gathering? Maybe you just want to beat inflation and stop paying for beer at the store? No matter why - here is your chance to get a hands-on, in-person introduction to the creative fun of home-brewing.

Auction winner will spend a sun-soaked afternoon in our backyard up to their elbows in water, barley, hops and yeast, learning the fundamentals of brewing while making a beer in the style of their choice. Education will be approachable and at a level aimed toward making the top bidder comfortable moving forward in the hobby on their own.

Along with their day of training, winner will receive:

- approximately two cases of bottled brew for enjoying when it is ready

- a printed copy of their recipe, suitable for use another time (or framing)

- a rich introduction to the basics of brewing at home

- an understanding of brewing ingredients and how they work together

- a detailed list of recommended tools and equipment should the winner choose to brew again at home, and a sourcing list for tools and ingredients

-a curated list of further reading

PLUS - a selection of beers to taste during the brew session, and a delicious lunch will be provided by Marie, known far and wide as "Charcut-Marie" (like charcuterie only better).

Offered by George, Marie and Charlie Griffin, friends of the Rogers Family and supporters of ACE
