You are bidding on a one night stay for two at the historic Beekman Arms Inn in the heart of Rhinebeck. The Beekman Arms is the oldest continually running inn in America. To step inside is to be transported back to Colonial America.
The Beekman Arms also has an excellent restaurant and a tavern where you can sit in front of a wood fire and sip a hot toddy.
The Inn is located right in the center of Rhinebeck with easy access to diverse shops and restaurants.
Beekman Arms started its life as a tavern in 1704 in the village of Ryn Beck, then a small settlement carved out of the forest by Dutch settlers. In 1766 the tavern was replaced by the current Beekman Arms. The building was constructed of stone and stout timbers to provide protection in the event of Native American raids. During the burning of Kingston 1777, Patriots fled across the river and sheltered at the Inn.
You are sure to remember this unique experience.
