The Letter O: it is my hope that upon viewing this work one is invited to take a deep and meaningful breath; a pause in their day to reflect, to wonder, to be still.

Artist Bio: Morgan Acheson comes from a family of artists and art educators. She holds a BFA in Illustration from Parsons School of Design and a MAT from School of Visual Arts. She grew up in the art studios of her parents and teaches middle school studio art as well as upper school Fiber Arts, Drawing, Illustration, Painting, and Advanced Studio at Friends Seminary. She delights in the anticipation of doors opening to new possibilities for others through the inspiration and wonder permeating from the walls of the art room. Growing up on the shoreline, Morgan often found herself surrounded by the pages of worn and well loved books. It was within the pages that she found adventure and curiosity. Her work often illustrates this sense of dreamlike wonder that lives within her boundless imagination. She loves pushing the boundaries of the possibilities art offers herself and her students by always asking the question, "what if…"
