Vintage black & white 16x20 photo featuring the historic Price Hill Incline which was the second of the five Cincinnati Inclines, and opened in 1875. It features two 800 foot tracks; one for passengers and one for freight. It connected today's Olden View Park to the intersection of Eighth Street and State Avenue below it. Understanding the elevation and its relatively short length, the Price Hill Incline was the steepest of the bunch. Aditionally, it was also the only family owned and operated incline. The incline closed in 1942. This photo was originally taken in 1906.
