Shark Bait is a multi-level legacy troop of Girl Scouts including Cadettes (6th to 8th grade), Seniors (9th and 10th grade) and Ambassadors (11th and 12th grade), based in Rancho Palos Verdes. Shark Bait is led by a leadership team made up of girls and voted by the girls. We offer year round programming, multiple large events, Silver/Gold award coaching, an extensive backpacking and hiking program, and much more! This auction item includes Shark Bait membership dues for a new or returning member of Shark Bait for the 2026-2027 program year, a Shark Bait beanie to keep you warm on camping trips, a Shark Bait water bottle to keep you hydrated during our adventures, and a box of tasty Thin Mints because we are Girl Scouts, after all!

Shark Bait accepts new 6th-12th grade members at any time. We will have an open house on May 13, 2026, open to any prospective member to visit and see what Shark Bait all is about.
