The 17th Annual Rocky Mountain Scramble

Welcome to the 17th Annual Rocky Mountain Scramble, proudly benefiting Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center. We're honored to have you with us on May 28th at the iconic Broadmoor East Course, a setting as timeless and inspiring as the community we serve.

Today isn't just about golf. It's about coming together to support the veterans and military families who strengthen our city, our state, and our nation. Every swing, every sponsorship, and every moment shared on this course fuels Mt. Carmel's mission to provide critical resources, connection, and care to those who have served.

Thank you for standing with us, for showing up year after year, and for helping ensure that no veteran walks alone.

MT. CARMEL VETERANS SERVICE CENTER

Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center is quickly becoming the leading support organization for Veterans, Military and their Families in the Pikes Peak Region. Large numbers of Military and Veterans in the greater Colorado Springs area (33,000 active duty personnel and 120,000 Veterans) make it vitally important that we as community leaders in government and the private sector alike, ensure that our heroes receive high quality and easily accessible essential services. Essential services include Employment and Transition Programs, Behavioral Health Counseling and Family Supportive Services, which meet the needs of our Military who find themselves in emergent situations. To achieve this at Mt. Carmel, we are guided each day by our mission.

MISSION

The Broadmoor Golf Course

The Rocky Mountain Scramble will be played on the Broadmoor's East golf course.

The Broadmoor's East Course is known for its wide, tree-lined fairways and expansive greens. With its challenging terrain and amazing mountain vistas, The East Course is ranked among the best golf courses in the country. Since the large trees can alter your shots and the putting greens difficult to read, the best tip we can offer for those taking on this open course is to remember that putts break away from the mountains.

Broadmoor East Course

The East Course has been home to many major tournaments, including the 1959 U.S. Amateur (which was Jack Nicklaus' first major win), the 1967 U.S. Amateur, and the 1995 U.S. Women's Open, which was Annika Sorenstam's first major title. Most recently, the famous course served as the host to the 2008 U.S. Senior Open, 2011 U.S. Women's Open and the 2018 U.S. Senior Open. In 2025, The Broadmoor will proudly host the U.S. Senior Open once more. The East Course was one of only 12 North American and Caribbean golf courses to receive a five-star rating by Golf Digest. The venue has also been ranked number one in customer service among resorts by Golf Digest. Links magazine voted the Broadmoor a Top 25 Golf Resort of the World in its Silver Anniversary edition.
