Feliz Pascua! Happy Easter! Calling all 4th-8th graders! Join Senora Bolton and 4 of your friends at her house for a big Easter egg hunt and making cascarones! Cascarones are a traditional Easter egg in Latin American countries. They are glitter filled Easter eggs that are then broken over friends' heads as a symbol of good luck. We will be coloring the eggs and learning how to fill the eggs with glitter. Then we will be cracking some for good luck! Kiddos can take the remaining cascarones home to their families. Materials used for cascarones are eggs, egg paints, glitter, and birdseed. Plastic Easter eggs will be stuffed with Herseys Kisses, Kit-Kat Bars, Skittles, and Starburst.
Date: Tuesday, March 24 or Thursday, March 26 3:30-4:30 or a mutually agreed upon date in March.
