Since 1988, John Khalil has been the premier rug dealer on Long Island. earned the art of rugs from his father in their native Iran, before he moved to the USA to attend Tulsa University. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science, and proceeded to Wyoming University where he earned a Master's Degree in petroleum engineering. After spending years diligently working for Petroleum Information, an international petroleum research company, Mr. Khalil moved to New York and established his first rug design center. He shares his knowledge as a professor at Long Island University, as well as a published author on Oriental Rugs. Many of his rugs have been sold at major auction houses like Sotheby's, and he stands behind his reputation as a leader in his field. His loyal following of interior designers and customers are a testament to his profession and integrity.
