This event is a fundraiser
We are excited to announce a new fundraising event, The Colt & Emma Pickleball Birthday Bash! This is a family-friendly, community fundraiser event. This is a great way to come together to provide HOPE for families fighting DIPG! There will be something for everyone so come join us for the celebration! If you enjoy pickleball you can sign up for our casual, round robin bracket style tournament. If you want to try pickleball for the first time come join us on the open play courts, or if you don't want to play at all but want to enjoy the entertainment area with some ping pong or table shuffle board come join us! For non-players, you can still come join us for the party to celebrate and hang out in the many lounge areas!
All proceeds benefit the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation, whose mission is to inspire and fund game-changing research to discover effective treatments for pediatric brain cancer, with an emphasis on diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG). ColtStrong is a Partner Family to the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation. We have been hosting fundraising events since 2019 after we lost our son Colt DelVerne to DIPG. Our family and friends came together to honor our sweet boy and raise money for DIPG research with the Carr family. Colt & Emma were twins. Their 18th Birthday is February 7, 2026 so we decided to have a Birthday Bash to honor Colt and celebrate Emma while doing something good for others. It is our family mission to be part of finding a cure for DIPG in our lifetime! Hope you will join us to help get one step closer to that goal!
