This vibrant, one-of-a-kind piece of neurographic art was created in collaboration by students across all three HPDS campuses, celebrating the creativity and unique minds that make Hyde Park Day School so special.
Inspired by the five sections of the brain and based on MRI scans of dyslexic brains, the abstract shapes flow together to form a playful and dynamic composition that reflects the complexity, curiosity, and individuality of how our students think and learn. Each colorful section contains layered marks and textures contributed by students, making every shape a small window into their imagination.
Special thanks to Elise Kendrot, Lemont parent and project creator, for designing and guiding this beautiful collaboration, with the assistance of HPDS art teachers Catherine Phelps and Chris Rinchich.
