We will see ticket holders on

SATURDAY MARCH 14th 2026!

FROM: 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM!

WHERE: The Clay Studio - 1425 N American Street, Philadelphia, 19122

Your participation in PhilaBowl is more than attending an event. It's about making a difference for The Clay Studio and our community partner, The Sunday LOVE Project.

We are excited to have bowls created by members of our community! Additionally, eight artists, Nicholas Malik, Celia Feldberg, Arista Wilson, Ken Beidler, Paul Serena, Josephine Mette Larsen, Bradford Davis, and Dehmie Dehmlow have each generously donated 25 bowls to the event.

THANK YOU!

PhilaBowl is a unique family-friendly event that showcases beautifully handcrafted bowls created by passionate Clay Studio artists and community members. These bowls, more than 500, are not just functional but also pieces of art that you can take home. Each bowl is a reminder that hope and art can be a part of our everyday lives!

Half the proceeds from PhilaBowl go towards supporting The Clay Studio's scholarship fund, a critical part of our mission. Your support of the events helps to ensure that anyone, regardless of their financial situation, can explore the world of clay. Last year PhilaBowl alone provided $4,700 in scholarships to TCS students of all ages, including our adult classes and clay camp for students in grades K-12!

The other half of the proceeds from PhilaBowl go towards supporting our partner, The Sunday LOVE Project. A non-profit organization dedicated to combating hunger in Kensington. We are proud to partner with The Sunday LOVE Project and support their mission of helping community members in our neighborhood.

The Sunday LOVE Project is an organization dedicated to combating hunger in the Kensington community with a free community grocery store, Greater Goods. These efforts make the essential need of food and nourishment more accessible to community members who face harmful barriers.

The Clay Studio is proud to partner with The Sunday LOVE Project and support their mission of helping community members in our neighborhood by combating hunger!

Event Logistics

Our fourth PhilaBowl is happening on Saturday March 14th, 2026 from 11:30 to 2:30 pm at The Clay Studio. Please know:

  • The event is rain-or-shine. All attendees will check in with staff in the shop.
  • Pre-registration is the only way to ensure an access ticket and a bowl - at $35 for a Bowl and Food Ticket. Additional tickets may be available the day of the event but these are not guaranteed to be available - we have sold out the last three years.
  • All of our delicious generously donated food is samples of light fare from local chefs. There is an ingredient list up at each station for notice of any possible allergy related information.
  • Food-only tickets are available for those who only want to try out the array of local foods, these do not include a bowl.  These must be purchased with a Food & Bowl Ticket.
  • This event is on a first-come, first-serve basis! You will be able to pick the bowl that speaks to you from an open display of over 500. There is also no set menu, you choose which foods to try, and which to go back to for more!
  • If you fall in love with another bowl, or purchase a food-only ticket there is a possibility of buying from the limited supply of additional bowl(s) on the day of - $25 per bowl!
  • Please bring a bag to carry your wrapped bowl(s) home to make this event as sustainable as possible!
  • There are no wash stations and the bowls have not been washed out of the kilns; we do not recommend using them for food until they have been washed.
