Royal Afternoon Tea in the Hensley

The Culinary and Hospitality Committee of the Rotary Club of San Jose requests the pleasure of your company for Afternoon Tea at one of San Jose's premiere historic homes in the renowned Hensley Historic District.

Once settled in, you and your seven guests will enjoy fine specially selected teas, delightful champagne, exquisite savories and delectable sweets - all bespoke for this occasion by the Culinary and Hospitality Committee and served on the finest English china . The butler assures us your serving staff shall pour the tea and the champers with great precision and only the mildest judgment.

A live musical performance by a professional harpist - playing the great compositions ranging from jazz to rock - will elevate your afternoon experience. Enjoy relaxed conversation, lovely live music, and a few gentle surprises along the way. (Household staff have been advised that the teapots and plates must remain full and gossip suitably refined!)

As is traditional, your Hosts suggest a weekend afternoon commencing at half-past two to afford your party the most delightful experience. The appointed date is to be mutually agreed.

We respectfully request an opening bid of $1,500.
