These two pieces exemplify Traditional Acoma pottery, renowned for its fine craftsmanship and distinctive use of local materials. Created using a slate-like clay sourced from the hills surrounding the Acoma Pueblo, the pottery is characterized by its remarkably thin walls-an admired feature achieved through both material and firing technique. Pieces measure 5" x 6.5" and 4" x 5".
