Destination Science Camp is a hands-on STEM Day camp for kids ages 5-11, where campers explore science through fun experiments, building projects, games, and themed activities. The program builds curiosity, confidence, and teamwork while making learning exciting year round.

What kids do:

• Participate in three science stations per day with hands-on activities and experiments.
• Build projects, explore themes like robots, space, physics and engineering, and take their creations home.
• Play outside, make friends, and enjoy group challenges and camp traditions like rallies and spirit days.

Jedi Engineering Camp
From lightsabers to liftoff, campers will use the force to complete their mission! Let's launch rockets, design robotics, and explore craters, planets & gemstones from far-off worlds.

Robot Olympic Challenge
Get ready for the ultimate robotics showdown! Campers will design and build robots to compete in Olympic-style games. Through hands-on experiments in mechanics, circuits, and motion, campers bring their creations to life and compete for the gold!

Movie Maker STEM Lab
Lights, camera… chain reaction! In the DS STEM Studio, campers create movie sets and stop-motion labs while uncovering animation secrets. With hands-on props, special effects, and demolition fun, they explore light, sound, and motion.

Destination Science Leaders in Training (LIT) program:
What is it? The Leaders in Training (LIT) program is a summer leadership opportunity for teens entering 7th-11th grade. Participants support hands-on STEM camp activities, assist instructors, and serve as role models for younger campers while gaining leadership, teamwork, and job-readiness skills. This fun fast paced camp runs Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., includes community service hours and is a great addition to their resume. New LITs will also attend a pre-camp leadership workshop or webinar.
