Night of Nights

A limited-edition print of the Gil Cohen painting "Night of Nights" autographed by several D-Day veterans, including members of Easy Company, 506th PIR, 101st Airborne.

Artist proof 201 out of 250, it depicts the moment Easy Company paratroopers take their fateful step out of the door of a C-47 and into the flak-filled night over Normandy.

Many of the paratroopers carry a letter from Gen. Eisenhower that they keep tucked under helmets, in jump boots, and in bulging jacket pockets, close to their heart.

The letter read: "Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary Force! You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you." Each soldier knew "Tonight is the Night of Nights."

This Victory Edition print is personally signed by FIFTEEN brave American D-Day veterans including members of Easy Company, the famous 'Band of Brothers':
