You and up to 7 other guests will experience what it's like to be on the Kentucky Derby trail with a barn tour experience led by racehorse ownership group partner Joel Fihn of Fihn Racing Co. Joel has been involved in horse racing for the past 15 years. Getting his start in partnership with Grade 1 winning trainer, Mike Pender a multiple graded stakes winning trainer who has been covered by ESPN and NBC Sports. His top horse, Jeranimo, raced in the $2 million Breeder's Cup Turf Mile and made over $1 million in earnings.

From beginning to end, Joel acts as his owners' advocate and educator throughout the racehorse ownership process. Joel works with world class bloodstock agents to seek out the next equine superstars. His resume of racehorses is extensive with missing the Kentucky Derby by one race 3 times.

THE EXPERIENCE:

You and your party will come out to the Fihn Racing Co. barn and meet top horses, as Joel what it takes to source, acquire, train, and race an elite thoroughbred racehorse.

After visiting at the stables, we will accommodate you at a track side box at the prestigious Del Mar venue with its beautiful, classy decor for discussion on understanding horse racing and also handicapping the winners for that day! If Fihn Racing Co. has a racehorse going that day, he will have you and your party join him in the paddock for the pre-race preparations, including meeting and greeting the jockey who will be riding his racehorse. And if the racehorse wins, you will be joining the team in the winner's circle for pictures which everyone in your party will receive after, so let's hope for a win that day!
