Silver Carp River Adventure for 2: Catch the Carp That Fly!

A guided silver carp fishing excursion for two with the Missouri Coast Fisheries team.

You'll join the crew on the Platte River for a hands-on experience harvesting invasive silver carp-an exciting, fast-paced style of fishing known for its "flying" fish.

Over the course of 3-5 hours, you'll travel up and down the Platte River and then continue out onto the Missouri River, with opportunities to stop at sand bars for exploration, photos, and a closer look at the river ecosystem.

Excursion has a target date of June 2026, but will take place on a mutually agreed upon date based on seasonality, river conditions, and weather.

Scheduling should be arranged approximately two weeks in advance to allow for weather forecasting and planning. Because river conditions can change quickly, Missouri Coast reserves the right to reschedule if weather or river safety conditions are deemed unsafe.

Participants should be comfortable boarding/exiting a boat and walking on uneven terrain; this experience is not ADA compliant.

Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. A standard liability waiver may be required.

Please note, if you want your auction item before Christmas, you must pick your item up at BBBS no later than December 19. Otherwise, pick-up or delivery will be scheduled after the first of the year.
