Fabulous Filipino Kamayan Dinner for 4 Guests

Eating with your Hands

With delicate and layered interpretations of dishes like sisig and pancit, chef Francis Ang creatively infuses Filipino fare with the best of California's bounty at Abaca, a lush and sun-soaked haven for contemporary Southeast Asian cuisine, located on the ground floor of the cool Kimpton Alton San Francisco hotel at Fisherman's Wharf.

Abaca was named to the New York Times 50 Best Restaurants in the United States list a couple of years ago, and the accolades continue to pour in. Enjoy this truly immersive experience and the epitome of Filipino heritage and culture, the Kamayan Feast for 4 guests.

Kamayan, meaning "eating with your hands," is a traditional Filipino communal feast where a meal is shared at a long table covered with banana leaves. It's a wonderful way to immerse oneself in Filipino culture or reconnect with our traditional communal feasts and family meals.

Chef Francis Ang and his wife and business partner Dian look forward to welcoming you to ABACA.
