Make plans to join us on Saturday, April 11, 2026, for the Lyric Opera Ball at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown, presented by the Lyric Opera Circle.

This year's theme, A Modern Masquerade, draws inspiration from the timeless mystique of the masquerade- reimagined with a contemporary twist. Join us as we honor the transformative power of opera through a night of music, mystery, and magnificence.

The evening will include a dazzling cocktail reception and delicious multi-course dinner, exclusive performances by Lyric Opera Resident Artists, a silent auction with curated experiences, and artistic surprises that reflect the imagination and grandeur of opera.

We are excited to announce that this year Jim and Diana Cusser will be serving as Honorary Chairpersons. Their passion and enthusiasm for the performing arts in Kansas City is contagious, we thank them for their support!

Since 1978 the Lyric Opera Circle has raised over $18 Million in support of the Lyric Opera. We have funded the equivalent of 45 sensational operas and contributed to the Kansas City community through opera-inspired programs for children and adults. We can't do it without your support. We hope you will join us for A Modern Masquerade and help us raise the curtain on another remarkable season!
