Support the next generation of care giver by sponsoring a youth corp member. Many of the youth corp historically have continued learning, obtained their EMT and pursued medical training at the college level and beyond. Your gift here will help provide uniforms, training and youth corp trips to conferences and competitions where best practices are shared. Our youth corp has historically done extremely well in these events most always facing strong competition from far larger programs throughout NYS.

Youth Corps of members ages 15 to 17 are interested in:

Helping people in your community
Becoming an EMT, paramedic, nurse, or doctor
Need volunteer hours
Responding to emergency calls
Saving Lives
Learning life-saving techniques
Then join the Tuxedo Volunteer Ambulance Jr. Corps! Fill out this application and return it to TVAC (address below).

Qualifications for Aspiring Juniors:

Must be 15 years old
Must be 16 years old to ride
Resident of Tuxedo, New York
Minimum commitment of 2 hours per week
TVAC provides all equipment and training necessary to ride! Minimum training includes CPR and Bloodborne Pathogens. Members who are 16 years old may be eligible to attend the New York State Certified First Responder (CFR) Course and members who are 17 years or older may attend the New York State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course , free of charge.
