Striezel Baking with Ms. Petra

Together with Ms. Petra, step into Discovery's school kitchen for a cozy, hands-on baking session where students
will learn the art of making Striezel - a beautiful, braided sweet bread beloved in Austrian homes. Under Ms.
Petra's gentle guidance, young bakers will knead, braid, and bake their own golden creations while discovering the
joy of tradition, patience, and creativity in the kitchen.
This delightful afternoon at The Discovery School includes all materials, light refreshments, and plenty of laughter.
Each child will take home their freshly baked Striezel to share (if they can resist eating it all at first!).
A heartfelt and delicious experience - where learning and warmth rise together. 🧡
Please note:
â- Depending on interest, students will be grouped by age, with about 8 students per group.
â- The baking will take place on an afternoon during the school year between 3:00 - 5:00 pm. We will
make sure to find dates that all participants will be able to attend.
â- To ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment, participating children should not have allergies to any of
the following ingredients: flour, sugar, butter, eggs, milk, or dry yeast.
