Dana Reese is a Georgia-born artist who after raising her kids has passionately pursued her artistic journey as a self-taught creative force. Her art is a vibrant blend of contemporary folk art, abstract florals, abstracts, and abstract figures. Dana grew up in southern Georgia, later moving to Macon, Georgia in the tenth grade, is a graduate of Southwest High School, and a has B.S in Marketing from Georgia College.

She owes her creativeness to her talented carpenter father and a mother able to creatively make something from nothing! Reese's love for texture and her mastery of the palette knife adds depth and dimension to her pieces, creating a tactile and visually engaging experience for the viewer.

Her artistic process is deeply intuitive, allowing her creativity to flow freely and spontaneously onto the canvas. Each brushstroke and color choice is a reflection of her inner emotions and perceptions, resulting in artwork that is both emotionally charged and visually stimulating.
