Ms. Dow's Class Basket. Can't go to Havana for a night of 3-D entertainment (drinks, dinner, and dancing)? Well, Mrs. Dow's 3rd graders are bringing Havana to you - right in your own home!

A party of six will enjoy a hands-on culinary experience with Huntsville's celebrated Cuban Chef Karlene Nazario, owner of HAVANAbama, a catering company that brings the rich flavors and cultural heritage of her Cuban family's recipes to your celebrations. You will learn about the dishes and be hands-on in their preparation and cooking, while sipping on Cuban libations that will transport you in your mind to a breezy Havana cantina.

After finishing drinks and dinner, you will indulge in a glorious dessert and famous Cuban coffee - which you will need to rev you up for the in-home dance class that will follow your delicious meal. Clear the floor and get ready to shake it Salsa-style to the rhythm of a Latin beat with an instructor from Baila Huntsville! Your small group lesson will include learning basic footwork, timing, leading/following fundamentals, and simple turn patterns, while learning about the history of Latin and Cuban dance and music. And all of the fun happens in the comfort of your own home!
