Support Pixy Stix
This is Pixy Stix, she has a very rare birth defect where the tubes that connect her kidneys to her bladder do not connect to the bladder correctly. Her vet believes the only way her condition can be fixed is surgically.

Pixy Stix will have to stay in foster care for a while as Pixy will need to be 5lbs (about 5-6 months old) to just undergo imaging (ultrasounds, CT scans, etc.) for the surgery. West Suburban has never seen a case like this because it is so rare, but because of WSHS’s above and beyond rescue care we will ensure she gets what she needs.
