The night of October 4, 2025, was a fun-filled event to celebrate Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena, the kids we serve, our amazing work of (Re)Building Great Futures, and our friends and supporters. We feasted on yummy burgers, held live and online silent auctions, drew the winner of the Wine Wagon raffle, watched performances by our very own Club kids, and built a Wishing Wall of our Club members' dreams and hopes as our community continues to rebuild after the Eaton Fire.
The evening was filled with many inspirational moments, including hearing from the Club's 2025 Youth of the Year, Audrey B., and 2025 Youth of the Year candidate Allisson C. They encouraged us all to continue investing in the Club as it has been their haven of support. Additional memorable speakers included Congressmember Judy Chu and BGCP Alum and former Branch Director and Board member, Joe Ford. Both shared the importance of after-school programs like the Club, especially during difficult and tumultuous times.
On this incredibly special night, we raised over $355,000 for life-changing programs for kids and teens in the greater Pasadena and Altadena areas. We deeply appreciate all those who continue to support this event year after year and those who attended for the first time. The Club is needed now more than ever as we continue to invest and go deeper in our programming to ensure every Club member has the chance to (Re)Build Great Futures for themselves.
A very special thank you to the Black Tie & Burgers committee, and its Chair Melina Montoya, for planning this beautiful and truly one-of-a-kind Black Tie & Burgers!

- October 1 at 5pm: Silent Auction opened on GiveSmart
- October 5: Black Tie & Burgers! Our program was as follows:
- 6:00 pm: Cocktail Hour Reception, Silent Auction, and Wine Wagon Ticket Sales
- 7:10 pm: Dinner, Club Member Performances, Youth of the Year Speech, Wishing Wall member spotlights, Live Auction, Raise the Paddle, Drawing of the Wine Wagon Raffle
- 9:20 pm: Silent Auction Closed
- 9:20 pm: Dancing and celebrating the power of (Re)Building Great Futures
