Exclusive overnight party at the Montana Natural History Center for up to 20 guests!

Have you ever wanted to spend a night at a museum? Do you wonder what happens when the doors are locked and the lights are out? Does the taxidermy roam the halls or does Sue start talking with her prehistoric fossil friends? Now is your chance to find out!

Gather a group of friends or family or BOTH and come for an unforgettable sleepover adventure at the Montana Natural History Center!

This night is packed with fun and nature discoveries, and is catered to different ages and interests, exclusive to your party. This is a great opportunity for a children's (or adult's) birthday party, a family reunion, or a perfect excuse to get friends together to make some memories.

Here are a few examples of the types of programs and activities we can offer; MNHC will work with the winning bidder to come up with programs to best suit your party!

• Behind-the-scenes collection tour with our Collections Manager, Alyssa Cornell. From historic taxidermy to rare natural treasures, Alyssa will share stories about some of our collections' most unique specimens.
• Night-time nature walk and talk along the River Trail led by an MNHC Naturalist where we'll keep an eye out for nocturnal wildlife and some celestial superstars.
• Movie screening of your choice. We'll lower the big screen in our main exhibit hall and project your favorite film or flick! From horror to humor, pull up your sleeping bag and enjoy!
• Museum scavenger hunt curated for your party's ages and interests with prizes!
• Art projects inspired by our glowing natural wonders from fireflies and lichen to luminescent rocks! Get a lesson on bioluminescence while creating glowing art inspired by luminous plants and animals.
• Nocturnal trivia!
• Owls owls owls! We'll search the Center for specimens, get a lesson on drawing these feathered predators, learn about varying calls then listen for hoots on a nature walk, and dissect your own owl pellets!

Dinner by Missoula favorite, Biga Pizza, and a light breakfast are included. PLUS an incredible custom cake by culinary artist Fern Bodnar of FiddleHead Cakes!
