Get ready to fill your freezer with approximately 125 pounds of high-quality pork! Chuck and Cathy Solum, local dairy, crop and swine farmers with deep ties to the area, and St. Josephs School are generously donating half a hog for this auction.
Your half of hog will be processed on Dec. 9th at The Butchershop in Rice Lake. You will pay for the processing and have the opportunity to make your personal choices in meat cuts, smoking options, etc.
Can you taste them already? Pork chops, steaks, loin, ribs, bacon, ham, ham steaks, roasts, hocks, sausage, etc....you could even make your own lard!
This is an amazing opportunity to stock up on delicious, local, farm-fresh pork!
