Kick of your fun on October 18, 2025 at the 20th Annual Elkhorn Oktoberfest! This fall celebration of food, music and shopping, offers a variety of biers representing German goodness. Wearing your lederhosen or Elkhorn t-shirt (XL), bring a friend and your certificate to redeem for two (2) commemorative steins and one free pour for each of you. Walk the streets of Elkhorn sampling local cuisine and listening to live music, and shopping the square filled with local artisans showcasing their amazing crafts and artistry.

When the fest is over, retreat back home to sip on your two bottles of wine, and admire your vintage Henning sketch drawing of the historical Elkhorn landmarks.

Perhaps another beautiful fall day, grab a friend and head north a bit to Waukesha for an inspirational full tour of the Ten Chimneys Museum Estate. This is more than a great museum though - it's the National Historic Landmark home of Alfred Lunt & Lynn Fontanne - widely considered the greatest acting team in the history of American theater. Tours of Ten Chimneys not only celebrate the one-of-a-kind collection the Lunts amassed during their lifetimes, but also honor the values found in every corner of their lives, both on the stage and in the house they called home for more than half a century.

To celebrate the local viticulture, you and three (3) friends can visit Timber Hill Winery in Milton. Some may not know that Wisconsin has an impressive and eclectic grape growing and wine making industry - and with more than forty different varieties, produced from Wisconsin vineyards, in their small family-run winery, Timber Hill is one of the best!
