A former marine biologist from Santa Cruz, California turned full-time fine artist. Amadeo is renowned for blending scientific accuracy with expressive, dynamic brushwork-bringing to life the power, grace, and raw beauty of the ocean and its species. His work has been featured in collaboration with Salty Crew clothing, marine conservation groups, and museums, and is beloved throughout the sportfishing and spearfishing community for its authenticity and depth.



Now, Amadeo brings his creative process directly to ICAST for a rare live painting experience. Watch as this piece takes shape Wednesday and Thursday at the Salty Crew booth (#4448), painted in real time amid the energy of the show floor. Then, join us for ICAST's Party for a Purpose on Thursday, July 17th, where Amadeo will paint the final strokes of the piece from 6-7 PM in the South Concourse B hallway-right before the silent auction closes at 9 PM that evening.
