1Watercolor painting of feeding station (Irish Pig Pen) in Ireland by Phil Austin. Framed picture is 20" * 25". About the Artist: Phil Austin (1910 - 2004), an American Water Color Society member, was active/lived in Wisconsin, Illinois. Phil Austin was known for his watercolor landscape and marine paintings. He was also a teacher at Wheaton College from 1963 to 1970 and worked as a free-lance artist in Chicago from 1950 to 1966. Austin earned a BA degree from the University of Michigan in 1933. He was a member of the American Watercolor Society, the American Artists Professional League, and the Academic Artists Association. He was featured in the October, 1971 issue of "American Artist" magazine. Phil Austin died on February 12, 2004, at his home in Ellison Bay (Gills Rock), Wisconsin.
