This one-of-a-kind stained glass piece was designed and handcrafted by Lizzie using the time-honored copper foil method. Each section of glass is carefully cut, taped, soldered, and reinforced with zinc for strength and durability. Artist Statement:
"I was primarily self-taught in multiple mediums and come from a family of talented artists. Introduced to stained glass in 1987 by my mother and grandmother, I was drawn to the dimensional possibilities of glass. I strive to create work that is inspired by observation, travel, and emotion-blending rich colors and textures into abstract geometric forms that invite contemplation and connection."
