Sho valued making connections within the community, a principle that guided much of his life and extended to his support for Corazon de Vida. He truly believed in Corazon de Vida's mission to provide a brighter future for orphaned and abandoned children in Baja, Mexico, and for over a nine-year period, he consistently supported their programs, contributing to their mission to provide a nurturing environment for these children. We are proud of his enduring commitment, and it brings us comfort to know his spirit of compassion will continue through your kindness.
MORE ABOUT CORAZON DE VIDA FOUNDATION
For the past 30+ years, Corazon de Vida Foundation has been providing assistance to what is now over 500 children living in 10 Baja California orphanages through consistent monthly funding to cover the basic survival needs of the children; food, shelter, water and utilities. Corazon de Vida also provides funding for facility improvements, and new construction projects as well as providing for medical, dental, and psychological services.
The foundation places a strong emphasis on education, by providing scholarships for university tuition as well as financial support for supplies and housing for the teens who age out of the orphanage system. It's mission is to end child abandonment by breaking the vicious cycle of poverty.
